The past few weeks have been a bit hectic with all of the moving plans. We decided to de-stress one day and go for a nice hike on the Barton Creek greenbelt. It was so nice to finally find a good hiking place here in Austin. I'm sure there are many of them, but we hadn't managed to get out of our small town long enough to find them. It was a truly wonderful day. And on a plus side, Lilly slept WONDERFULLY that night, which meant she let us sleep past 7.
This past weekend we made a one-night trip to Boerne to pick stuff up from Mom and Dad that we needed for the move. Brad, Haley and Grayson were there that weekend, too. We were supposed to be watching Grayson this weekend while Brad and Haley went to the lake with friends, but they all got sick this week. Thus, our plans of getting to do all of the local things you are only allowed to do with a child in tow, will be placed on hold for a while. He is at such a fun stage right now and changing so much each time we see him. He also makes the most amazing faces!!
Everything is finalized for our closing on Monday. Therefore, all we have to do is show up and sign our lives away. There's still a lot of packing to do, but in eight days, we will be living in our home!!! I can't wait to share all of the new adventures home ownership will bring!
