10 Months!

This month started with a visit from my brother and his family.  Samantha LOVES her cousins and was talking about their trip for days before they came and still sits by the door waiting for her cousins on random days.

This was the best picture we could get of them... and it's still missing one!

It won't be long and these girls will be teenagers driving around in a REAL car!

-K finally became willing to eat table food meaning my days of making baby food are OVER!!!! (Can I get an Amen??)

-She's officially cruising around! She is now walking on furniture and toys.  It will still be a while before she's taking steps independently I'm sure.

-Almost all month all of our household has been coughing, snotty and puny.  Three of the four of us were covered in these spots for some length of time.  They didn't itch, just looked like we were diseased.

-Someone has become obsessed with putting things on her head! She also loves putting things in front of her face in order to hide and play peekaboo.  She cracks herself up!

-She learned how to do high fives, wave, and kick this month : )

-Some of our best friends had a new baby this month (along with like 8 other friends!!) and Samantha talks about him and prays for him (along with his big brother) daily! This is the first baby younger than K that we've interacted with.  It's crazy to realize how much she's actually grown in 10 months, despite being a tiny peanut still.

-She's had a hard time going down for naps this month, often needing to fall asleep on one of us.  It makes it hard, but at the same time, there's NOTHING sweeter than your baby snuggling on you!

-K started labeling J this month.  She calls him "ba" (which is also her word for "dog").  She gets soooo excited when he gets home from work, crawls quickly to the door and screams "ba" over and over!

-All of the fall fun has started! These girls both LOVE animals and thoroughly enjoyed the first petting zoo of the season.

 -These girls play in Samantha's crib every day.  They are such great sisters!!
